One of Chicago’s more popular beaches, this 22,000 square foot beach houses a variety of recreational activities. For those looking for sports and exercise, there’s beach yoga, volleyball, jet skis and kayaking available. If you’re looking to just relax, rent a chair and umbrella to enjoy the sun. Head to North Avenue Beach from HUBBARD221 with a 15 minute bike ride.
Enjoy a walk on the beach, build a sandcastle or dine at Del Campos when you visit 12th Street Beach. This smaller beach is close to Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium. So when you’re done laying out you can spend some time exploring these exhibits. Bike here from HUBBARD221 within 20 minutes.
